Duties include bidding, researching vendors and new materials, project documentation, tracking budget-to-actuals, project oversight, client meetings, site visits and installation supervision.

Duties included communication with designers, budgeting, drafting, creating all working drawings for the shop, structural analysis of set components, tracking shop purchases, research and development of mechanical systems, and both load-in and strike plans.

Assisted the technical director in drafting, budgeting, product sourcing, creating rigging plans, load-in and strike.
Shop Foreman (2014)
A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Into the Woods (in rotating repertory)
Scenery budget: $19,500Supervised a crew of six graduate students, two full time employees and 3-12 undergraduates in the construction of two shows. Responsible for efficient use of floor space for both fabrication and painting. Assisted implementation of load-in and strike.
Carpenter (2014 – 2017)
Carpenter for six main stage productions, including two shows in rotating repertory, and three second stage productions. Duties include fabrication of scenery, load-in and strike of shows and repertory changeovers. Average build schedule is 2 ½ weeks and 1 ½ week load-in.

Responsible for drafting, budgeting, load-in, change-overs and strike of Shrek the Musical (Theater for Young Audiences). The show changed-over twice per week.

Supervised the build and construction of seven shows over a ten-week period. Duties included maintenance of scene shop and tools, construction of scenery, supervising scene shop (two carpenters and three interns) and supervising load-ins and load-outs.

Supervised the build and construction of seven shows over a ten-week period. Duties included maintenance of scene shop and tools, construction of scenery, supervising scene shop (four carpenters and three interns) and supervising load-ins and load-outs.

Crew member (carpenter and general technician) for the load-ins and load-outs of touring productions. Worked shows as a flyman and on deck crew. Lead crews (2-8 people) performing general maintenance, hanging plots and setting up the orchestra pit and restoring the house.

Production manager of the undergraduate department. Duties included managing the budget for all production departments, creating a season production calendar, running production meetings, facilitating communication between directors, department heads, PlayMakers staff and student designers.
Instructor of Record – Drama 193 Practicum (Fall 2015- present)
Instructor of record for the undergraduate practicum course. Students are assigned to run crew for one of three professional shows at PlayMakers for the semester. Responsibilities include coordinating 30 student schedules and assigning them to show positions; communicating with production staff about crew needs; generating calendars and contact sheets for each show; and functioning as a liaison between students and PlayMakers stage management and department heads.

Responsible for drafting, budgeting, load-in, and strike of two undergraduate productions. Mentored undergraduate carpenters, electricians and run crew.
